Audio Rated Superior In New iPhone

Apple is asking Dr. Mac to return his test iPhone to them and soon.  In an article published in the Houston Chronicle business section, Bob Levitus aka Dr. Mac  says the audio quality on the iPhone 3G is superior and along with the improved internet speed, believes it offsets other complaints voiced about the new iPhone.  Along with the increase in internet connections, he says it is enough reason to upgrade.  He intends to put his money where his mouth is by purchasing one for himself and giving his old one to his wife.

The audio is not only of a better quality says Dr. Mac, it is also louder. He indciated he had missed an unknown number of calls on his original iPhone because of the low volume but that problem is not an issue with the new version.  He also called associates with both phones and they reported the audio they heard was of a better quality on the new phone as well.

One of the more worrisome problems is short battery life and that problem still exists.  The original iPhone had sufficient power to last all day but Levitus said his test model was dying before noon.  Disabling features does extend power life a bit but that is a hassle.  This would seem to be a problem Apple must address.  Levitus' webpage is: http://boblevitus.com
